I recently setup a frag tank and am experiencing an issue I can’t figure out. I fragged some green recordia mushrooms, green zoas, and pink zoas and everything was great and healthy for the first two weeks. Now the pink zoas never open but all other corals appear to be fine. All my parameters seem to be fine and I can’t see any potential pests on them. Even the few pink zoas left in my display tank aren’t looking good. Any suggestions?

zoo's

I've found that when some zoo's get pissed off, they won't open for a while. You could try moving them away from the light a bit, experiment with different flow, do a Lugol's dip, and make sure the water is nice and clean.

Fill your tank with $5 bills, pour some gas in, light it on fire.......then you'll know the real cost of reefing.

Flow

The best thing that works for me is alot of water flow on them ,after a freash fraging.

They should be fine. I get a colony every now and then that just stays closed for a couple days up to a week or so and then one day they just decide to open up.
